Description
We are looking for someone who is committed and who wants to build a trusting and caring relationship with our patients. A person who has the ability to work as part of a team.
- Prepare the surgery for treatment appointments with suitable instruments and materials.
- Providing Chairside assistance and support to all clinicians.
- Providing reassurance and support for all patients.
- Sterilising of instruments.
- Processing and filing of Xrays.
- Maintaining surgery environment to the highest cross infection standards.
- Recording accurate information in patients records as required.
- Maintain stock levels within the surgery.
- Assist with manning of reception as and when the need arises.
Mandatory; GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English. Alternatively, Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English would also be considered.
Training to be provided
Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will be required to complete:
- Work towards gaining a full Level 3Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Qualification.
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
- Standard and End Point Assessment.
- Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required).
