Apprentice Electrician Greenock

WLE Electrical Services are an electrical contracting company based in Greenock, specializing in industrial and commercial projects within West and Central Scotland. We also have a thriving small works section which provides services within domestic sector. We are currently looking for candidates to fill our Apprentice Electrician Post. the successful applicant will need to bring a willingness to learn, develop and be solutions minded.

The responsibilities for the Apprentice Electrician job in Greenock include:

• Learning from and assisting electricians with different duties.
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties.
• Providing good work ethic in all works.
• Working individually or as part of a team depending on the designated job requirements.
• Communicating with clients in a professional manner.
• Possessing a Desire to learn.
• Utilizing our employee application software to accurately record documentation.

Qualifications

• The completion of the SECTT Pre Employment test preferable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the skill of listening and following both simple and complex instructions.
• Candidates applying for an electrical apprenticeship must have at least GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
• College attendance on a block release basis is an integral part of electrical apprenticeship.

Weekly work duration – 39 hours per week

Monday – Thursday – 8am-4.30pm

Friday – 8am-3.30pm
