Could you be joining us for our 2024 intake of Metal Fabrication Apprentices?
We are always on the lookout for talent people, especially those with the ambition to develop themselves and their career, and we are currently looking for Metal Fabrication Apprentices to join us at our site in Carnaby, Bridlington.
Our apprenticeship scheme offers you the opportunity to develop the skills required to take the next progressive steps in your career whilst delivering award winning steelwork structures. We work across all market sectors, including Commercial and Industrial, and Nuclear and Infrastructure
The successful candidates will work in our factory, learning the role from our skilled fabricators who will be mentoring you throughout your journey. You will also study, 1 day a week, at Derwent Training, to gain the theoretical knowledge alongside your practical skills.
We are looking for hardworking individuals who have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn this exciting trade.
To be successful in joining us as an apprentice you will need to be at least 16 years old and have achieved a minimum education level of 4 GCSE (Grade 9 - 4 /A*- C) or equivalent including English and Maths.
As an apprentice, you will have access to all Severfield benefits, including, 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, access to pension scheme, health insurance plan, reward gateway and Employee Assist Programme.
You will also be working towards the industry recognised Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice Standard and earning a good wage alongside.
