Job Title: Apprentice Floor Layer

Location: Leeds

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

We are a leading national, flooring company operating in the construction sector, working for a wide range of Tier 1 Construction companies. Our portfolio includes projects of various sizes and complexity, including high rise residential, schools, hospitals and offices.

The successful candidate will work closely with our senior Floor Layers and gain valuable experience in all aspects of Floor Laying.

Responsibilities:

Assisting Floor Layers with their daily tasks

Communicating with team members to ensure project requirements are met.

Clearing floor areas and moving materials

Ad-hoc duties as requested from time to time

Installing floor materials such as carpet, vinyl and other materials

Requirements:

The job requires a significant amount of physical activity, such as lifting heavy materials, bending and kneeling so you must be physically fit and able to perform these tasks.

Ability to follow instructions carefully and good attention to detail.

Good communication skills are essential

A valid driver’s license
