Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the Virtual School Kent’s Participation Team within Integrated Children’s Services.

This is a great opportunity to gain a level 2 qualification in Customer Service, whilst working as an Apprentice in a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation.

The Virtual School Kent has responsibilities for the education of Children in Care and Adopted Children. Their Participation Team works to help ensure that the views and opinions of these young people and those who have left care are heard and are taken in consideration.

You would be helping to run our activity days, meetings and events, and other county and local initiatives like, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
This role requires an organised and caring individual with good communication skills, who enjoys interacting with children and young people.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding and/or personal experience of the care system.

Starting salary of £14,952 per annum which is equivalent to £7.75 per hour. Upon successful completion of the probation period, your salary will increase to £21,293 per annum.
