What you'll be doing


As an Apprentice Pipefitter you would work within a team on our projects to assist with the manufacture, installation and testing of high integrity mechanical systems in buildings or industrial plants. The Pipefitter role encompasses the positioning, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, repair and decommissioning of piping systems within Engineering Construction.

  • Read and understand technical piping drawings
  • Manufacture and install high integrity pipework
  • Carry out testing of pipework to ensure a safe and high quality product
  • Work with various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and Inconel
  • Maintain full traceability and aid the quality process

Who we're looking for
  • You will need a minimum of five GCSE’s at grades 9-4 or A-C including Maths, English and Science or a Level 2 BTEC in Engineering
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Examples of going the extra mile and contributing to a workplace or academic community
  • An understanding of safety and why it is so important to yourself and others around you
  • Ideally hold a full UK drivers’ licence at the time of joining
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK at the time of joining
