Salary: Age Related National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage

Hours: 37 hours per week, full timeAboutWorking as an Apprentice Premises Officer, you’ll provide support to the existing Premises teams responsible for the security and safety of the site, alongside maintenance of the school building and grounds. Applications are welcome from candidates with a full clean driving licence as successful applicants will be required to work at three of the Trust sites, which are all within a three-mile radius of each other. Basic IT skills and previous work experience are desirable but not essential.Candidates with a passion for DIY and health and safety, the ability to communicate effectively, with competency to work independently or as part of a team, a proactive approach and a positive, friendly personality are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly within an alternating shift pattern of 6:00am to 2:00pm and 10.00am to 6.00pm.
This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone looking to start their career in the Facilities Services sector. To complete the Level 2 Facilities Services Operator Apprenticeship, you will have 6 hours per week of your time to complete off the job training. You will receive training support during your working hours and the opportunity to apply your learning to your role. You will compile a portfolio of evidence to showcase your learning and receive regular support and check-ins by your mentor and manager.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll achieve a nationally recognised qualification, improve your skills and capabilities, discover new competencies, as well as valuable work experience, that will provide you with the best chance possible of being offered a full-time position within the Facilities Services sector.
