Customer Team Leader Apprentice
Location: 46 Burley Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS3 1LB
Pay: £12.10 per hour + great benefits
Contract: 39 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, full-time

We're looking for an ambitious and driven Customer Team Leader Apprentice to join us at Co-op to gain the knowledge and experience you'll need to become a future leader in our retail stores. Over 18-months you'll develop key skills; from sales and product marketing to leadership and effective communication - and plenty more in between!
We'll look to you to help lead your store team, connect with people and causes in the local community, and provide a great experience to our customers and members. You'll also spend a minimum of 6 hours each working week studying towards the Level 3 Retail Team Leader qualification, in partnership with our learning provider.

What you'll do
- Provide a hands-on friendly, welcoming, and helpful service to our customers
- Carry-out the appropriate checks (e.g. stock accuracy) to make sure your store is safe, legal, and fully operational
- Develop key skills to kick-start your journey towards becoming a future leader in our stores (e.g. leadership, communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and project management)
- Help to lead change in-store, collaborating with your team to deliver this successfully
- Work alongside your Store Manager to help them develop and deliver the local community plan
This role would suit people who have
- Achieved or commit to achieving a grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents)
- The appropriate residency requirements
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Curiosity and a passion for learning
- A genuine care for the needs of our customers and members
