A fantastic new opportunity has been created for an Apprentice Technician at our FS Tyres dealership on Melton Road in Woodbridge.
You will be working in a busy workshop environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to high standards.
Your duties will include:
- Undertake maintenance, service, repair and warranty activities on motor vehicles to the highest standards
- Attend training course’s as required
- Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to Company and manufacturer’s timescales and standards of workmanship
- Effectively record details of works undertaken and components utilised
- Keep work area clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards, together with adhering to all health and safety requirements
- Be able to work effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Education requirements - English and Maths C (4) or above
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player
- Full driving license
- Attention to detail
- Motivated to progress and keenness to learn

Working hours will be 40 per week for applicants under the age 18, over 18-year-olds will be required to work an average of 45 hours per week. Monday and Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Saturdays 8.00am to 1.00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays).
The apprenticeship will last a minimum of 36 months with the possibility of a permanent position, continued learning to include becoming a Qualified Technician and salary review.
