Approved Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electricians mates, Electricians and Approved electricians with preferred experience within the water industry/industrial background to join our team.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This is a sub-contract position with competitive rates of pay and continuous work for the right candidates.

The Job is chemical dosing on sewage treatment works, (NOT WORKING WITH SEWAGE)

Each job is a 6 week rolling contract, one at Anglian water (Wragby), another at severn trent (Shropshire areas) with possible more to follow.

The job is based on 45hours per week, with the daily rate equalling to around GBP240.00 per day for Approved Electricians with possible early finishes on a Friday (Job dependant).

Electricians mates rates will be discussed dependant on experience.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the location of wiring and equipment
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
