This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role

As an Approved Electrician you will undertake a wide range of electrical work in an industrial environment covering installation, commissioning, fault-finding, maintenance and repair in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice.

You'll also supervise and lead a small team of electricians on allocated projects and mentor assigned electrician apprentices through to qualification.


Qualifications

  • Time served electrical craft apprenticeship.
  • City and Guilds 2357 (Level 3), or equivalent, updated to BS 7671: 18th edition.
  • Demonstrate supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrate work experience in an industrial/commercial environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work safely in accordance with a Written Safe System of Work (WSSoW).
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritise and balance the workload
