Salary Job Title: Approved Electrician
Based: Telford
Hours: 40-48hrs pw, Mon to Fri
Pay: £46,000 - £52,000 depending on experience/qualifications
An opportunity has arisen for an Approved Electrician to start immediately. The successful candidate will live in the Shropshire/West Midlands area, and, reporting to the Contracts Manager, will be required to work on various sites mainly in the Severn Trent operational area. The Company is a well-known and well-respected electrical installation business employing around 48 staff Based in Kington that manufactures electrical control systems for the process industry and specialises in the installation of LV and ELV electrical systems within the construction industry, mainly for the water and wastewater sector.
Main Duties and Requirements
able to read and understand electrical schematics, block and loop wiring diagrams and other electrical installation documentation (essential) Inspection and testing qualification (essential) SSSTS and supervision experience (desirable) responsible attitude and able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the assembly, installation and modification of cable containment and armoured cables (essential) experienced and safe whilst working with hand tools and small power tools (essential) able to work as part of a small team and be self-motivated (essential) Some lodging away will be required JIB/CSCS and EUSR cards will be required (training provided if not held) Full valid driving licence required (essential) Experience within the water/utilities industry (desirable)
