Location: Hooper Street Depot, Manchester, M12
Hours: 35 per week, 7.30–15.00 Monday to Friday
What is the role?
Manchester City Council are looking for two Arbor Inspectors / Tree Surgeons to carry out tree inspections, planning application reports, service requests and tree surveys as well as several other tree and biodiversity related projects.
You will deal with issues and provide advice, act as a member of a team and contribute to the delivery of neighbourhoods of choice through the provision of a comprehensive range of flexible, responsive, and planned and statutory front-line services for residents, businesses and visitors to the City of Manchester.
Required
- Must have previous Arbor Inspector / Tree Surgeon experience.
- Excellent people skills, as you will be speaking to members of the public, clients, and other members of staff including managers.
- Strong IT Skills, as you will be using word and excel, and inputting important information onto internal systems.
- Physically Fit and Healthy, as you will be required to lift heavy items and to also be working outside.
- Full UK Driving licence, and access to a vehicle.
