Architect, Perth PKC11123£42,683 - £45,536Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth PH1 5GDWe are looking for a person like you to work alongside other Architectural and Construction professionals in our multi-disciplinary office. You will have the skills and qualification to provide architectural design, team leadership and technical direction and support for the development and delivery of a range of Projects, of varying scope and complexity, throughout RIBA Stages 1-7.A key aspect of the role is the Contract Management/Administration of allocated Projects, ability to contribute to office practices and procedures, and intuition to apply Local, National and International developing requirements to address Climate Change, Carbon and Greenhouse Gas Emissions. You will direct others, or autonomously carry out surveys, prepare feasibility/reports and contribute to client business cases, produce Project information/drawings and specifications utilising Revit/ CAD/ BIM software, including NBS and other associated Council software systems and applications. Review design proposals and technical information prepared by external consultants/Teams. Prepare, co-ordinate information and submit Statutory applications, including responding to queries arising, to achieve Statutory approval. Manage and administer Projects throughout the design/delivery process, associated tasks and construction process, for compliance with PKC requirements, Standards and Regulations, to achieve handover and where applicable Passivhaus accredited certification. Thereafter, responding to defects period issues to close-out the Project.You must have an appropriate level of skill, knowledge and experience gained within a Construction/Property Office and can evidence a wide range of work undertaken. You will need a working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit, an understanding of Passivhaus design/delivery principles including BIM systems, and knowledge of the Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM). It is expected you will have well-developed written, oral and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate confidently, clearly and precisely with a wide and varied “audiences”. You will treat others with dignity and respect.You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross, be ARB registered and educated to Degree level in Architecture.
