About The Architect Role
The Architect will liaise with the Design, Commercial and Construction teams on a daily basis.
You will use design sketches, REVIT technical drawings, specifications and compliance advice to ensure all company projects are compliant with employers and regulatory / statutory requirements.
Duties of the Architect
- Produce design drawings and provide guidance/direction for regulatory compliance working closely with the Head of Design and Design team.
- To work closely with the design team on multiple projects at one time, which will vary in size, complexity and scale.
- To attend client meetings and liaise with contractors, providing technical advice when required.
- Maintain professional and competence standards through ongoing CPD to support BOPAS accreditation.
- Manage Planning applications where required.
- Approval of designs to ensure compliance with building regulations and accreditation requirements of UK Quality Assurance systems
Qualifications and Experience You Need to Succeed
- RIBA Qualified with either a BArch or Masters degree in Architecture
- 5-10 years relevant UK experience
- Have excellent communication skills both written & spoken.
- Must have very good knowledge of all current building regulations both commercial & residential.
- Must be proficient in all phases of the design process, including feasibility, tender, planning and RIBA Plan of work stages through to project completion.
- Must demonstrate the ability to produce high quality design with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven experience managing Health & Safety in design
- Experienced In BIM
- Proven Revit Capabilities- Intermediate to Advanced
- Proven CAD Capabilities
- Fully IT Proficient
