Architectural Technologist

In this role, you will collaborate with architects and design teams to develop detailed drawings, models, and specifications for a variety of projects. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge designs and make a meaningful impact in the architectural field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects and designers to develop detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for architectural projects.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise architectural drawings and models.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
- Prepare and review construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Assist in project coordination and management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Demonstrate 2 years’ experience in an architectural firm.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Creativity and a passion for innovative design solutions.
- Professional certification or licensure is advantageous.
