About Our Client
The client is a growing retail organisation currently expanding and looking for an experienced Area Manager.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Area Manager include:
- Overview and responsibility of KPIs linked to sales targets.
- Training of staff to high standard.
- Coaching and supporting managers and teams within each store.
- Regular store visits to ensure standards are kept to a high level.
- Be the link and encourage the joint working of stores.
- Direct line management of store managers, including weekly meetings.
- Managing stock levels.
- Support in new store openings.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Area Manager candidate will:
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have demonstrable leadership, training and management experience and skills.
- Evidence of supporting and training employees to become autonomous.
- Have in-depth knowledge of retail and store operations.
- Be willing to travel, with a full and clean drivers license.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Area Manager in a retail environment.
What's on Offer
On offer to the successful Area Manager:
- £42,000 per annum.
