Area Manager - Children's Residential Services

Location: Leyland
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join us as an Area Manager overseeing a cluster of residential properties in the Leyland area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team of Registered Managers and support staff across multiple residential properties.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing children's Residential Services.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of up to 5 residential properties, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
• Support and mentor Registered Managers, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement service improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes for children and young people.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote partnership working and best practice.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's Residential Services.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
