What to expect

Our Area Managers play a key role in supporting our Directly Managed Branches out in the field by helping them to drive commercial activity and a service that truly supports their community. You will have direct line manage responsibility for 10-15 DMB Branch Managers and will require a full driving license as you spend much of your time onsite.

You will be responsible for the development of an effective local strategy for your area’s DMB Network as you support the team in delivering excellent customer service and operational standards.

Accountable for all aspects of DMB branch performance including sales and customer service, you will support the wider Retail Team in achieving and beating targets as you ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong leadership skills and ideally with a track record of managing a remote team effectively
• Experience in operational management within retail and experience with continuous improvement
• Commercially oriented with a good business acumen
• Passion for great Customer Service and a desire to drive excellence
• Ideally a good understanding of the DMB operation
