As an Area Relief Security Officer you will cover sickness, holidays and overtime at a number of different sites in your area.
The aim of the Area Relief Security Officer is to provide cover when required and maintain a safe, secure and pleasant environment for our customers and the public.

Salary: £10.42-£11.44 per hour (excluding overtime. PAYE ONLY.)
Hours: We guarantee a minimum of 20 hours per week, however some flexibility to work out of hours as and when necessary will be required.
Location: Greater Manchester
Reporting to: Operations Manager
This is a permanent contract position; therefore, candidates need only apply for this role if they are flexible.
Start date: Immediate start - following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.
Roles and Responsibilities
Creating a positive first impression through the delivery of exception customer service.
Ensuring buildings are unlocked and locked at the agreed time.
Attending alarm responses.
Providing on-site security, covering planned and unplanned leave, including overtime.
To ensure factual and accurate recording of information and to ensure that all recordings of information are stored securely.
To ensure that information is gathered and collated for monitoring and outcome purposes.
Dealing, in a professional manner with the customers staff, visitors and contractors.
Provide scheduled and random mobile patrols.
Working in accordance with assignment instructions, site specific procedures and compliance with policies and procedures.
Undertake training and professional development, as necessary to be able to fulfil the role.
Representing StrongGuard Security UK, the client and other agencies to their values during your duties.
Applicants must have / be
A valid SIA (Door Supervision or Security) licence.
A valid first aid certificate.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
Able to communicate clearly and at all levels and with people whose first language is not English.
Flexible and reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
Smart and approachable.
A team player with a positive, solution focused approach.
Be able to maintain professionalism, at all times.
Enthusiastic and must enjoy working with people.
Able to satisfactorily pass the screening and vetting process by providing a minimum of 5 years checkable history (with no gaps). Have hold a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle.
