The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle including lead generation, building strong client relationships and closing deals.
Ideally, you possess good technical understanding of controls systems and / or with a background in the automation or security industry. You must also be a quick learner who has proven negotiation skills and a wining mentality to meet and exceed targets. It is essential that the Area Sales Manager is self-motivated, with excellent communication and presentation skills and a true professional in every sense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new business relationships within the northern region
- Grow revenue with existing clients through effective account management
- Achieve monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Full Sales lifecycle - from lead generation, cold-calling and negotiating contracts, to closing deals
- Develop strategic sales plan for the assigned Northern territory in order to meet and exceed sales targets
- Making technical presentations and product demonstrations
Required Skills and experience:
- Sales experience within control systems and or electronics, ideally in the automation/ security / access industry
- Strong communication skills
- Target driven
- Driving licence (required)
- Good IT skills including MS Office - Outlook and Excel and CRM systems
- Good team player with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
