Area Sales Manager - HVAC Industry (Air Handling Units)

We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to join our team.
About the Area Sales Manager Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Air Handling Units within their designated region. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record of successfully selling HVAC products to consultants and contractors. The Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan to meet targets and expand market share in assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with HVAC industry consultants and contractors
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Provide technical support during project design and specification phases
- Collaborate with marketing for sales support materials
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Coordinate with internal departments for order fulfilment
- Utilise selection software for generating quotes
Experience/Qualifications:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the HVAC industry
- Minimum 2 years’ experience selling Air Handling Units or related HVAC products
- Desirable: Strong HVAC system understanding; full training provided
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with consultants and contractors
- Self-motivated with accountability and drive
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
