Area Sales Manager

Our client, a renowned organisation in the food industry, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented individual to join their team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales within your geographical area. With a strong focus on customer service and profit contribution, you will play a key role in driving growth and achieving targets.

Salary: up to 34,000

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours p/week

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Maintaining and reviewing product knowledge by liaising with suppliers
• Building and maintaining customer records and databases
• Creating and executing clear journey plans and customer categorisation
• Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in new market sectors
• Actively promoting the company's services and acting as an ambassador

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid UK driving licence
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Extensive sales experience and a proven track record
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service
