Area Sales Manager - Covering West Midlands
Due to a recent internal movement here at Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions we have a great opportunity for an experienced, driven Area Sales / Account Manager / Business Development candidate to join our high performing team as Area Sales Manager. You will be covering are The Midlands You will create and develop an Area Sales plan for the agreed geography in line with the regional sales plan creating a clear vision of how individuals' prospects and customers can contribute towards the overall plan objectives.

What we're looking for:
Ability to consultative sell offering solutions not productsProject management skills with the ability to work concept to closureExperience / Knowledge of the construction industry is preferredThe ability to introduce and promote new products to your customersExperience in delivering profitable sales in a sales roleEffective Communications and Influencing SkillsAbility to work as a team, collaborating across depts.Self-motivated, organised and using CRM to support the business plan and needs of customersAbility to adapt to change and be agile in ways of working to meet the needs of the customer.Develop and manage customer relations, managing key stakeholdersWhat you will be doing:
Create and develop an Area Sales plan for the agreed geography in line with the regional sales plan creating a clear vision of how individuals' prospects and customers can contribute towards the overall plan objectives. Plans to be executed with key stake holders in Distribution & InstallersActively engaging and encouraging your own development by taking ownership of your individual development plan with the assistance, coaching and mentoring from your line manager and other members of the business if appropriateBring your individual style and personality to your day-to-day activities whilst operating within the wider culture of the channel. Being as actively engaged with other teams as you are with your own in order to sustainably deliver the objectives of the area planImplementation of the area plan, including the negotiation of trading terms for independent accounts, discussions with Sub Contractors and MCFA Partners in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director and cross channel colleagues, to deliver the best possible balance of volume, product mix and profitabilityDevelopment and implementation of new product area plans, in line with national and regional sales plans, to deliver sales in line with our Product Leadership objectivesBe the focal point for the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained.
