Area Security Officer

We are currently recruiting an Area Security Officer to work across a cluster of sites in Grangemouth, South Queensferry and Livingston.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a range of prestigious sites, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. If you are in the security industry or are looking for a career change, then this would be perfect for you! We will offer on-site training, as well as career development too.
The rate of pay is £12.00 per hour.
This is a full-time position working on a 42 hour per week basis working a combination of days, nights and weekends.
Please note, due to the requirements of this role you must hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to your own vehicle.
Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
Other duties will include:
- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
- Gatehouse duties
- Conducting searches when required
- Taking delivery of parcels and advising the recipient by phone
- Completing internal and external patrols of the premises
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training.
