Job description

Simon Acres Recruitment is working with a leading bathroom supplier are looking to recruit an Area Showroom Manager to oversee 3 showrooms based in Manchester, Lincoln, and Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will be based in either Manchester or Birmingham, with strong people management skills and a proven track record of sales success.

Salary: Negotiable, plus bonus.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm.

The Role:

  • Managing 3-bathroom showrooms based in Manchester, Birmingham, and Lincoln with the ability to lead change, lead by example and lead from the front.
  • Monitoring and managing team performance, through KPI s and 1-2-1 s.
  • Setting team targets and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring continuity throughout the business and showrooms.
  • Reporting directly into the Director on a weekly basis, drawing down reports and analysing sales performance.
  • Showroom Managers to feed into Bathroom Cluster Manager on sales performance throughout the stores.
  • Completing weekly reviews of overall team performance Vs target.
  • Identifying training needs and facilitate relevant training and coaching of team.
  • Reviewing teams calls recordings to ensure correct conservation being had and give appropriate feedback.
  • Producing quarterly action plans to improve performance of store team.
  • Developing and optimising sales processes within the showrooms, managing a database of existing customers whilst planning on how to target new business.
  • Generating leads through prospecting potential trade customers nationwide via phone, email & text.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced in managing multiple showrooms within the KBB or merchant industry.
  • Sound people management experience, ability to manage and lead teams of 10 plus people within a showroom setting.
  • Strong Bathroom product and appliance knowledge.
  • A keen eye for detail and an excellent commercial awareness.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Confident, self-motivated, proactive with strong communication skills.
  • Hands on management style, leading by example.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, support and challenge individuals.
  • Experienced in using CRM systems and databases.
