As an Art and Design Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the school’s students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that align with the KS3 and KS4 Art and Design Curriculum
- Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Collaborating with other members of the Creative Art department to develop and enhance the Art and Design curriculum and resources.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, and maintaining effective communication channels.
To be considered for this Art and Design Teacher role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Art or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Art and Design at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
- Located within a commutable distance from Bromley
- Strong subject knowledge
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
