Art & Design Technology Teacher – April 2024
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Art Teacher for a Secondary School in Harrogate who are seeking to cover a vacancy after Easter. The role is for 1 term initially, but has the potential to become permanent.

The school are looking to appoint an Art Teacher with experience teaching across KS3 to KS5, and who would be happy to work on a full time basis within a very supportive school.

If you are an Art Teacher with the ability to support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of innovative lessons- we would be keen to hear from you.
To be considered for this role we are looking for an Art Teacher who:
• Is ambitious and enthusiastic to deliver their subject
• Teaches the subject across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Has a presence within the classroom and will support the students and provide them with the guidance that is required
Your duties within the post will include:
• Planning and setting lessons which challenge students at all levels, with classes ranging from Year 7 – Year 13
• Delivering engaging lessons on a daily basis to a good standard in set-based classes
• Working with school structures and policies to ensure that marking and assessment is completed in a timely manner
• Monitoring and encouraging the progress of all pupils within the classroom
• Building strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
