Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to nurture students' artistic talents and help them explore a wide range of mediums and techniques. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons that encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Provide guidance and support to help students develop their artistic skills and creative confidence.
- Organise and oversee art projects, exhibitions, and competitions to showcase students' work.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and inspired.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- UK curriculum knowledge.
- Strong background in art with a passion for teaching.
- Experience teaching art at the secondary level is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
