Art Therapist/Art Psychotherapist, Dance & Movement Psychotherapist

This post will provide a specialist individual and group based arts therapy assessment and treatment within CAMHS to young people and their families alongside generic CAMHS MDT practice. This is a community-based post, located within the Dunstable Emotional & Behavioural Team in Bedfordshire CAMHS offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatments to a wide variety of clinical presentations. The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the multi-disciplinary team. The post requires an individual who is adaptable, willing to offer evidence-based therapeutic intervention with good organizational skills and preferably experience in working with challenging young people and families. It is essential to have effective interpersonal and communication skills. You will be working in a community based team delivering a service to children, young people and their families in a supportive and lively multidisciplinary team, where differences in training and theoretical standpoints are respected and valued. You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the delivery of a modernized and comprehensive service, and to contribute to our teams ability to continue offering an excellent service to all our stakeholders.
