Job description

School Art and Technology Technician

27 hours per week (39 weeks)

Grade 3 (SCP5-6). Actual salary is £14,589 to £14,964 per annum.

Required as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational Art and Technology Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting.

The Creative Arts department at Foxhills is a fully staffed department and is made up of music, art, hospitality and catering, product design and textiles; you will be directed to work across the whole department, predominantly based in product design and hospitality and catering.

You will assist teaching staff and support teaching and learning in the classroom, you will be working with small groups of students. You will need to be highly organised, able to manage your time effectively and complete tasks to deadlines as set by the department. You should have Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development/education. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
