Asbestos Consultant / Project Manager

Job Title: Asbestos Consultant / Project Manager.
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £25K - £38K + Training + Benefits
Longstanding Asbestos Consultancy are now seeking to employ a business minded and commercial Asbestos Consultant / Project Manager. You will be providing excellent consultancy and project management services across Industrial, Commercial, Social Housing and Healthcare clients. Due to the nature of contracts, the successful candidate must also be happy to work hands on, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties in line with client / company needs, using TEAMS / TRACKER system to produce detailed reports and creating site specific RAMS. This role would suit an Asbestos Consultant who is looking to progress into a Project Management role. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to cover contracts across the Yorkshire / Midlands / M1 region.
Consideration would be given to candidates based across the Yorkshire / Midlands region including: Leeds, Keighley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Nottingham, Mansfield, Derby, Matlock, Beeston, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Loughborough, Leicester, Lichfield, Tamworth, Coalville, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent. (Mandatory)
" Experience working within a consultancy / project management role for an Asbestos Consultancy would be beneficial.
" Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Able to communicate and manage time efficiently.
" Familiar with using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
" Managing a team of asbestos staff, delegating work efficiently.
" Liaising with Quality / Technical manager providing support and advice.
" Creating site specific RAMS.
" 4 stage clearances.
" Carrying out smoke, background, leak, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Managing and supervising asbestos staff / subcontractors on site.
" Working in line with relevant HSG guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice, and dealing with any queries.
" Ensuring that work is completed in line with agreed timeframe.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER system to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
" Producing certificates of re-inspection to clients.
" Managing workload in line with client / company requirements.
