Asbestos Lab Analyst

Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £27k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading Asbestos Consultancy who are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their team in the Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will have a background working for an Asbestos company working within the laboratory. You will be familiar with using PLM and stereo microscopy to carry out sample analysis, completing job sheets after analysis, as well as, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and the laboratory is clean.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Elland, Huddersfield, Halifax, Mirfield, Dewsbury Batley, Wakefield, Morley, Bradford, Pudsey, Ossett, Leeds.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold BOHS P401.
" Experience working in a laboratory role for an Asbestos Consultancy.
" Keen eye for detail.
" Excellent organisations / communication skills.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Ensuring to log samples onto internal systems upon arrival to the laboratory.
" Ensuring samples are stored correctly.
" Preparing samples for analysis.
" Using PLM and stereo microscopy to carry out sample analysis.
" Ensuring the laboratory is clean and all equipment is calibrated.
" Competing job sheets upon completion of analysis.
" Working in line with Health and Safety guidelines.
" Liaising with clients in a professional manner.
