Asbestos Removal Operatives

CRE recruit are currently looking for Asbestos Removal Operatives based in London, Greater London and across the south east.
As an Asbestos Removal Operative, you will be an integral part of our client’s team, responsible for the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials from various sites in London. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out Asbestos Removal activities in strict accordance with all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Setting up and preparing containment areas for Asbestos Removal, including sealing off work areas and installing appropriate safety measures.
• Safely removing and disposing of asbestos-containing materials using approved methods and equipment.
• Performing visual inspections, air monitoring, and clearance procedures to ensure that all asbestos has been effectively removed.
• Documenting all work performed, including daily reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
Qualifications needed -
• Asbestos Operative Licence or Certification (UKATA, ARCA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to Asbestos Removal.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in tight or uncomfortable spaces.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid driver's licence preferred but not required
