Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £34k + Training + Benefits
Renowned and industry leading Environmental Company who hold a strong presence across Scotland are now seeking to employ a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. This role would suit candidates who have an extensive background working within the asbestos industry, who hold a good knowledge of HSG 264 and experience carrying out the full range of surveying services across Commercial, Industrial, Social Housing, Public Sector and Healthcare sites. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into various environmental sectors, competitive salary, company vehicle and pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hamilton, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Edinburgh, Penicuik and areas with good access to the M8.
Experience & Qualifications:
" BOHS P402 or RSPH qualification (Essential)
" Experience carrying out surveying duties for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Company would be beneficial to the role.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG 264.
" Familiar using industry relevant systems (TEAMS / TRACKER).
The Role:
" Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Attending site upon completion of work to carry out re-inspection surveys.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed comprehensive reports.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and advice.
