Asbestos Surveyor - Cambridge

30,000 - 35,000 + Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Asbestos Surveyor to join a market-leading multi-disciplinary consultancy that delivers a range of environmental and health and safety services nationwide. With over 25 years trading experience, this consultancy has grown their brand into a highly respectable name within the asbestos industry, and they are now looking to expand their team of vibrant and client focused asbestos professionals, to cover a range of commercial projects across the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire regions.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and the public in a professional manner
  • Complete management, refurbishment and demolition surveys at a range of sites
  • Complete annual re-assessment
  • Conduct bulk sampling when required
  • Collating data and producing comprehensive reports

Skills/Qualifications

  • BOHS P402/RSPH3 qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' field experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Experience of working within a UKAS accredited company is essential
  • Knowledge of TEAMS systems
  • Ability to collect data via tablet

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • The ability to produce accurate recording and interpretation of data
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A flexible approach to changes of working hours which will be requires
