Role: Asbestos surveyor

Location: Surveyors needed in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham

Salary: 26,000-38,000 dependent on experience

Additional Benefits: Van, 33 days annual leave, Paid travel

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various asbestos surveys and inspections, including management, refurbishment, demolition surveys, and assessments of asbestos in the ground.
• Collect accurate site data for the generation of high-quality reports
• Ensure compliance with asbestos-related regulations such as HSE and construction.
• Work within a UKAS accredited organisation and demonstrate familiarity with documents like Lab 30 and RG8.
• Maintain personal QHSE documentation and adhere to internal assurance processes.
• Provide professional and courteous service to clients, addressing inquiries and offering specialist advice when needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, the Technical Support team, and fellow team members.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

• Possession of BOHS P402, equivalent RSPH qualification, or Certificate of Competence.
• Full UK driving license (manual).
• Flexibility in terms of travel and willingness to work out of regular hours.
• Strong work ethic, capable of working independently or as part of a small team.
