Job Title: Asian Speciality Development Chef

We're seeking a talented Asian speciality executive sous chef / Head chef to be part of the development team in Amsterdam.
We are looking for a creative chef to support in menu development, presentation training and production of Asian cuisine dishes.
Chinese and English required.

Who are you?

• Previous experience in fast paced environment necessary
• Proven experience an Asian Speciality Executive Sous Chef, Head Chef or executive chef
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management skills
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
• Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
• Credentials in health and safety training
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
• Looking to relocate to the Netherlands
• Must speak Chinese and English

What will you do?

• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
• Prepare, cook and present high quality Asian dishes to present to clients
• Train Kitchen staff in the different dishes
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety
• Show creativity in the dishes
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified needs
• Apply the HACCP rules at all times in the kitchen
