Our commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction has made us a leader in the industry. Due to recent job awards, we are seeking a skilled Asphalt Spreader to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Competent at laying asphalt onto roofing surfaces with precision and care, ensuring a smooth and even application.
High level theoretical knowledge of asphalt build up and detail, understanding of material qualities and best practices according to MAC recommendations.
Operate, clean and maintain asphalt equipment, ensuring equipment functions efficiently and safely.
Coordinate with the roofing contracts team to ensure timely and accurate application of asphalt according to project specifications, budgets and timelines
Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets Sussex Asphalte's quality standards and the client's expectations.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve asphalt application processes and techniques.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Asphalt Spreader or similar role in the roofing or construction industry is required.
Familiarity with asphalt equipment and tools.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safety and understanding of safety protocols.
