The Basics:
Role: Assembly Fitter Precision engineering
Day shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30am to 4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-12:hrs.
Salary: £16.92 to £19 per hour + overtime available = earnings of £40000 and upwards achievable.
Overtime: Paid at 1.5
Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview:
We now require an Assembly Fitter to join the workshop, working in varied role than will involve mechanical fitting, assembly and testing. You will be working in a machining and toolroom environment out of modern first class manufacturing facilities for a company that produce machined and fabricated components for nuclear, oil and gas and aerospace.
The ideal candidate / Assembly Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Time Served Apprenticeship beneficial
Competent at reading engineering drawings
Previous experience in manual machining milling, turning, grinding for example would be advantageous
Competent bench fitting and mechanical fitting skills working with hand tool associated in a workshop environment.
Previous experience operating press machinery, working with heat and shrink fitting techniques etc.
