Working from their centre of excellence, we are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. The Assembly Operative will work to engineering drawings to manually assemble various mechanical and electrical vehicular parts with the use of a mix of hand tools. This is a fantastic opportunity if you have mechanical or electrical experience within in the aerospace, aviation, or automotive sectors. They are offering candidates a permanent contract after a minimum 12-week period of successful probation. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Wednesday: 7.00am to 5pm Thursday: 7.00am to 4.30pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday OFF Once you are fully trained overtime is available, paid at time & half to double time depending on shift times/ days Assembly Operative Skills Required: * Good Mechanical or Electrical aptitude is essential * Experienced in the safe use of a range of hand and power tools * Excellent communication skills, to explain general information and effectively communicate with peers and management * Ability to read assembly documentation such as drawings and work instructions essential * Knowledge of health and safety within the workplace. * General knowledge of assembly operations Perks: * £14.24 per hour paid weekly * Dedicated Account Representative * Onsite Parking * Onsite Canteen * Overtime available at shift premium once fully trained If the role of Assembly Operative is of interest to you, hit apply today and a member of the team will be in touch!
