They now require a dedicated Assembly Technician who will be responsible for configuring their machine-learning powered plug sockets, as well as picking, packing and shipping. Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician

• Configuration of plug sockets: programming the smart sockets with wifi codes via a PC
• Screwing assemblies together using small components
• Wiring and securing small wiring harnesses together
• Picking, packing and shipping
• Cycle counts/keeping track of stock

Skills/Attributes Required in the Assembly Technician

• Aptitude for practical, hands-on work with small components
• Comfortable with technology (and ideally with an interest in smart technology)
• Ability to identify assembly issues when they arise
• Health and Safety awareness
• Intermediate skills on Excel
• Highly numerate
• Good communication, able to think for themselves and a high level of common sense
• Someone who wants to grow with the team and be a true team player
