We are currently recruiting for a workshop based in Newbury on a full time, temporary.basis to help with the extra workload.
This role would be to start immediately, and you would need to be able to commit to the at least the next 2-3 weeks, with the possibility of being extended.
The role is based in my clients workshop in Newbury supplying a specialist product to the international oil and gas industry.
In the workshop they receive the parts made by subcontractors to their designs. The candidate will be tasked with carrying out inspection, assembly, pressure testing and packing.
The person we’re looking for needs to be:
- Mechanically minded; we’re looking for someone with some hands on experience doing things like rebuilding bicycles in their shed or working in a workshop.
- Good at problem solving.
- Tidy, organised and methodical.
- Able to work within defined quality systems with high attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team with good communication skills.
Working hours are 8.00am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am-12.00pm on Fridays.
