Assessment and Learning Experiences Co-ordinator (B-wbl)

Pembrokeshire College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Assessment and Learning Experiences Coordinator to join our Work Based Learning Consortium (B-wbl) team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced work-based practitioner who is passionate about engaging and challenging work-based learners to achieve as well as they can.

Due to the nature of this position, the role will be undertaken on a hybrid basis.

Salary Details: Scale: BS 30-33 (currently £34,452—£37,692 per annum)

This is a 4-point scale with progression incrementally on an annual basis. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix.

Hours of work: Full-time, 37 hours worked over 5 days

Contract Type: Salaried – Permanent

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days plus statutory bank holidays & College efficiency closures

Annual leave entitlement will increase to 32 days pro rata (based on full-time equivalent) following 5 years+ service

Qualifications: To hold a minimum level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline. If you do not hold this qualification, Pembrokeshire College will support you in gaining this during your employment, within an agreed timescale

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with an excellent understanding of teaching, learning and assessments in WBL and the quality assurance processes used to effectively monitor the quality of the learner experience. You will work alongside the Quality Manager to ensure a high-quality, consistent, learning experience for all our JGW+ and Apprenticeship learners. You will work with our provider network to embed quality assurance processes that will recognise and share best practice if required.

You will have a proven record of delivering work-based learning and use your experience of teaching, learning and assessment to enhance practice and improve learner experiences. You will be driven and use your own initiative to meet targets and achieve deadlines.

The B-wbl Consortium (led by Pembrokeshire College), works with providers across South East, West and Mid Wales delivering Apprenticeship and Jobs Growth Wales+ programmes. Aspects of this role will be undertaken remotely and therefore it is essential that you are IT literate and confident with technology.

You will be required to travel across our provider network in the region of the South East, West and Mid Wales to support the quality assurance activities therefore, although this role is hybrid, ideally the successful candidate will be located along the M4 corridor.

Mae Consortiwm B-wbl (dan arweiniad Coleg Sir Benfro), yn gweithio gyda darparwyr ar draws De-ddwyrain, Gorllewin a Chanolbarth Cymru i ddarparu rhaglenni Prentisiaeth a Thwf Swyddi Cymru+. Ymgymerir ag agweddau o'r rôl hon o bell ac felly mae'n hanfodol eich bod yn llythrennog mewn TG ac yn hyderus gyda thechnoleg.
