My client a reputable and established international professional membership body is currently searching for an Assessment Coordinator. You will be based from home with once a fortnight at the Oxford office.
If you have experience in qualifications, examinations with experience in quality and standards in a professional body, awarding body, university, further education, higher education, training provider, chartered institute, royal society, membership organisation, academic or academia we would love to hear from you.
The Role of Assessment Coordinator
Contributing to the development and delivery of the Engagement and Learning directorates' strategic objectives, the Qualifications Executive is responsible for
Supporting the processes by which the institute assures the quality and standards of its qualifications and examinations
Supporting the 300 external examiners undertaking their work to develop and set the examinations for all subjects
Ensuring that examining teams are able to meet their deadlines and provide advice and support to them as required to help meet these
Co-ordinating with external suppliers who support the Assessment processes
Supporting colleagues in the quality area to deliver their workloads and enhance the experience of institute suppliers and customers
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
Experience within a professional body or higher education provider.
Experience of assessment setting processes within an academic, professional body or exam board setting
Discreet and diplomatic in the handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Ability to work in a flexible, proactive way, supporting colleagues across the team as necessary.
Able to maintain high levels of accuracy and a calm, methodical approach while working under sustained pressure at times.
A high standard of organisational skills including the ability to work effectively to achieve tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships at all levels and the ability to seek cooperation from busy colleagues.
Desirable
