What you'll be doing
We are looking for an Asset Care Stores Assistant to join our team in Kiveton.
You will report to the Stores Manager, coordinating the manufacturing unit engineering stores facility to stock availability to meet operational needs and targets.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Identifying stock requirements and placing orders in a timely manner to meet the needs of the engineering maintenance plan and production activity
- Assisting with the stock control policy and practices to ensure that the inventory is accurate at all times and that stock can always be speedily retrieved
- Optimising component levels to effectively manage cost controls
- Monitoring spending against budget to effectively manage the stock expenditure, in the absence of the Stores Manager
- Providing day-to-day control of the store ensuring that people are safe

As a Stores Technician, you will ideally have:
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene or Health and Safety
- Previous experience working in an FMCG environment
- Chemical handling experience
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
