Asset Finance BDM - Soft Asset

£60,000 - £70,000 basic plus Car and excellent Commission
James George Recruitment are working exclusively with a very successful Asset Finance Brokerage in their search for a Soft Asset BDM.
Whilst you will inherit some Vendor relationships, it’s still important that you have the hunger and drive to hunt for new Reseller contacts too. This is a client development and sales focused role that will be exciting and challenging and where your success is well within your own control.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop existing reseller, distributor, and manufacturer partnerships.
- Meet potential partners to identify their requirements.
- Research and build relationships with new/dormant partners and sales prospects.
- Set up meetings between decision makers.
- Plan approaches and pitches by working with Management team to develop presentations and proposals that meet the partner’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Achieve set targets and this will be predominantly achieved by bringing on new business.
- Analyse dealer performance and increase dealer turnover.
- Research and canvas for new dealers.
Key skills required:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years in a leasing sales role, ideally offering finance for Soft assets.
- Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
