Working to ensure the management of road assets is planned and coordinated to provide a transparent and comprehensive Asset Management approach to the delivery of an efficient and effective roads service. Applicants should have previous experience of working in this field.

Applicants should have the ability to develop strategies, operational plans, maintenance manuals and understand the importance of client focused service delivery.  There is also a requirement for applicants to have a working knowledge of road Asset Management systems, GIS data management systems, practices, and techniques. 

It is essential for applicants to have a working knowledge of roads legislation and relative operational codes of practice in relation to the maintenance of road assets. 

The provision of this service is a high-profile matter and attracts public scrutiny at all times.  The service is therefore required to be flexible, innovative, and reactive to public demands. 

You will work 37 hours per week.
