Job Title: Asset Registration and Control Engineer
Location: Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute + Hybrid Working Arrangements
Compensation: £35,000-£42,937 + Benefits

The role
As an Asset Registration and Control Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for registration of new and replacement assets as well as disposal of all redundant assets across the whole of HMNB Clyde.
Day to day, you'll maintain asset information held on IFS ensuring it remains topical. Ensure close liaison with all key stake holders throughout.
  • Register all new and replacement assets across the whole of HMNB Clyde in line with AM(C)-PM-001.
  • Disposal of all redundant assets across the whole of HMNB Clyde in line with AM(C)-PM-006.
  • Assist the Asset Optimisation Manager in maximising the utilisation and the efficiency of all the section's resource.
  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company's cost, time and quality requirements.
  • Determine the expected replacement costs of assets and project the figures into the forward works registers.
  • Maintain asset information held on IFS ensuring it remains topical.

This role is full time, 37 hours per and will be based at our Coulport site, near Helensburgh site, however most of the role will be completed from home on a hybrid working arrangment, with site visits only necessary when business demands.
Essential experience of the Asset Registration and Control Engineer
  • Knowledge and experience in Mechanical and Electrical systems and equipment
  • IT capable
  • Knowledge of Asset management techniques
  • Open to learn and keen to develop skills

Qualifications for the Asset Registration and Control Engineer:
  • HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant completed apprenticeship

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
