Assets Administrator

Assets Administrator needed for an immediate start on a temporary basis.

Our client in Canterbury is looking for an experienced individual to join their Information Services department and assist with a thorough Audit of the organisations IT Hardware.

This role is temporary for a minimum of 1 month with the potential to be extended on a rolling basis.

You will be required to carry out a detailed and thorough check of the organisations IT hardware equipment, and arrange for this to be logged and checked by an outside party. You will be calling departments throughout and fact finding as to what equipment is currently in use and where this is kept. You will then arrange for inspections to be carried out on this equipment and it to be logged.

You will be entering data onto the system, recording all the information you gather and will have to meticulously work your way through a whole list of names and departments to gather this information.

Excellent communication skills a very thorough and detailed approach will be required, so previous experience in a role that requires these skills is essential.

An understanding of IT hardware will be required but technical information is not essential.

Hours can be flexible however will be based around the 9-5 working pattern, Monday to Friday.

Salary: 15.00 per hour
